New Yawk City

Really cannot wait until this Saturday!! Why you ask? Because the language clubs at school are going to NYC for the day then going to Little Italy for dinner. I have been to Times Square several times, but never anywhere else, so I'm mostly excited for Little Italy.
I can't wait to smell the roasting peanuts and go into Macy's, the M&M store and the billions of Forever 21 and H&M's!!! I feel like I'll be the tour guide to all of the fashion stores for everyone though, but oh well, I guess they just admire my style? Dunno, but I did find out that a bunch of the cheerleader/preppy chicks at school voted me 'Most Artistic' for the senior superlatives... a nice little surprise I guess no?

P.S. My favorite Forever 21 in NYC is the one next to the disney store because it's like one story, but the other floors go down into the basement and there are like 2 or 3 in total <33
P.P.S. I now have Empire State of Mind stuck in my head lol.

You taste like whiskey when I kiss you

So I bought my very first moleskine a few days ago! I've already done a few projects or whatever one might call them.. the first one was a bunch of henna designs I threw together and the second is of Lady Gaga with a quote from her song Bloody Mary. I have the red moleskine by the way.
Also, we are starting our clay projects Monday FINALLY. Hm, what am I doing tomorrow..

  1. Going to a fall harvest bazaar
  2. CAR SHOPPING (might be a brandy-new car and not used!!)
  3. Trying to figure out what I am going to play for my Tri-M audition/initiation -___-

Coffee or tea? Not fair, you can't just pick one!

So school started about a month ago and my schedule is still messed up.  Ugh. and my class ring keeps sliding upside down every time I type. I'm just full of problems today. I feel like I never have the inspiration for posts. Including the lack of a decent camera that doesn't die after two photos, I barely post anything that I feel a normal blog does. I don't know, maybe the days annoyances are just eating me alive?
Anyway, in my 3-D design class we are starting to work with.. wait for it....... CLAY!! You have no idea how excited I am about this! I haven't worked with clay since elementary school when I made a pinch pot (I think that's what it's called) and a mayan pot. SO FUN. The down side is that my art teacher won't let us use the wheel but eh, I'm an independent study in his class, so maybe he'll let me use it? Dunno, but I can't wait to glaze it with pretty colors.  Haha the glaze makes me want a doughnut from dunkin... which just reminded me about my friend who is getting me an apple caramel doughnut for tomorrow morning because she is working the last shift at dunkin tonight. Rambling again, sowwy c:
I guess I can post some cool pottery pictures now? kk here it goes:

Ok, just had an epiphany, should I make all under the sea themed pottery for my portfolio or Alice in Wonderland themed?? Lemmeh knoww

P.S. Loving Cher Lloyd's With Ur Love right now!!

L'Automne

I absolutely love living in New England, especially in (YOU GUESSED IT!!) fall!  The leaves change to fiery reds, oranges and yellows and crunch with every step.  Ugh and the smell!  It's just amazing!  If you have not smelled the leaves in fall, you are missing out on a major part of life.. not kidding.  But if you can't make it to NE to smell autumn... you can go to Bath and Body works and smell their autumn leaves candle!  Not kidding, it smells like NE in the fall.
Alright, enough about how much I love fall itself,  but I love the clothes.  So much layering, chunky sweaters, JEANS, knee high boots.  I will try to post a picture of my outfits every morning but I am usually running late soo let's see how this will work out haha.  I do have some outfits that I'll post later tonight.  But for now I have to finish up some chores and then get ready for work (or as I like to call it: the concentration camp) at 3.

xx

p.s. new banner coming soon!!

Always Remember 9/11

Today is the 10 year anniversary of the Twin Tower's collapse.  I remember being in grammar school when this happened,  I was about 8 years old in 2nd grade and the whole school was taken outside.  We stood in a circle, in silence, for those who passed.  It's really the only thing I remember from that day aside from me hoping my Aunt Sue who lived in NY was okay.

P.S. She was, she didn't live anywhere near the city, but I didn't know that.

Penny Loafers??

Look at me, I am on a roll with these posts! Haha. Anyway, the play for school this year is Grease and we all have to buy oxfords to go with the theme.  But today I got a magazine in the mail from Delia's and while flipping through it, I found these leopard loafers which according to my mom and research were quite popular in the 1950's.  So, should I get them? They're quite adorable!  Even at $44.50 I wouldn't just wear them for the play I would use them for school, work, etc. so it's a win-win right?  Tell me what you think!
